Help Your Child Grow & Thrive
Anchor Kids opens doors to the pediatric healthcare services your family needs and deserves. As a parent, there's nothing you want more than to see your child thrive, but the responsibility for your child's health and wellness does not fall on your shoulders alone. You deserve a team of people and professionals in your corner to lean on when you need support. We help with tongue ties, colic, torticollis, developmental delays, feeding issues and more.
The question is: who do you turn to when you notice your child is missing certain developmental milestones, or when you know deep down something isn't right? Anchor Kids, that's who.
We Use Movement as Medicine
Anchor Kids is on a mission to change lives for the better by providing a proactive, holistic approach to individualized, play-based rehabilitation. We bring much-needed access to the pediatric healthcare services that are instrumental to the general well-being of children and their families, with a highly reputable team of doctors, practitioners and therapists.
The sick-care system is not enough. Just because your child's issue or injury isn't life-threatening doesn't mean it's insignificant. Our team of expert chiropractors, physiotherapists and healthcare practitioners offers 1:1 wellness checkups and play-based rehabilitation programs that meet you and your child where you are, and guide you toward where you want to be.
If pediatric chiropractic care is new to you, our guide on what a chiropractor actually does explains how technique is modified for infants and children, and exactly what a first visit involves.
Every Stage
Care for Every Age
From their first days to their teenage years, we use movement as medicine to help kids thrive.
Infants
Well-baby checkups assess motor milestone delays, latch issues, colic, torticollis, and post tongue tie and lip tie. We provide detailed wellness assessments and gentle adjustments. Think of it like a trip to the spa for your baby, they'll likely sleep through the whole appointment.
Toddlers
Walking, climbing and exploring often comes with falls and bumps. We take your toddler's concerns seriously with a gentle approach through physical therapy and chiropractic care.
School-Aged Children (4-6)
In many ways, kids are mini-sized adults who experience similar issues, especially with more sitting and sedentary time. Our play-based programs encourage kids to move in a safe, fun and inclusive environment.
Pre-Teens (7-12)
General movement is one of the most essential components of your child's health, now and into the future. We teach the movement habits kids need as they navigate the developmental shifts of adolescence.
Athletes & Teenagers
Our preventative treatment plans take a proactive approach to cross-training and health, decreasing the risk of injury and other medical concerns.
Clinical appointments and programs are covered under most extended healthcare benefit plans.
Specialized Training
Tongue & Oral Tension Support
Both Dr. Alli and Dr. Karlie are trained in P.I.P.S. (Pediatric Intraoral Palate Specific), a technique instrumental to improving tongue, jaw and overall function when an infant has tethered oral tissue, TMJ dysfunction or other oral tension challenges.
An assessment might be right for your baby if they:
- Blisters on their lips after breastfeeding
- They don't push their tongue past their lips
- Difficulty latching
- A tongue that appears heart shaped
